In a recent interview Rita Ora has shared plans for the future. According to the artist, she intends to record a cover of the 1975 hit Lady Marmalade with Miley Cyrus.
I've always wanted to make another Lady Marmalade. Trying to find the group - think, sing will I am, Miley Cyrus, Charli XCX, she's cool, and Iggy Azalea,
- shared with the press Ora, also said that she loves the cover of 2001.
Speaking of cover versions. The song Lady Marmalade 1975, first recorded girl group Labelle, instantly became a number one hit. Since then, many artists recorded their own version of the song.
In 1998, its sound track presented to the public group All Saints. And, I must say, their work came to taste the audience: the song rapidly climbed to the top of the UK Singles Chart.
This version was a number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. for five consecutive weeks and received the award "Grammy".
A cover good or bad? It happens, of course, different. The question is whether Rita Ora and Miley Cyrus to surprise the audience and present the product really worth.
