Avril Lavigne: a wedding in his image

Avril Lavigne wanted to offer its guests an exceptional ceremony. The singer spoke to the Canadian magazine Hello on this very special day.

Ril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger were married last Monday in the south of France. The couple had rented the medieval castle of La Napoule, located in Cannes.

The singer, dressed for the occasion in a black Monique Lhuillier gown, decided to organize the celebrations over three days to finish in style Day Canada Day. "I wanted to be sure to have a vacation completely crazy and offer our guests an experience they will remember for a long time, she told the Canadian magazine Hello. I wanted it to be extravagant. I'm obsessed with castles and I loved this very French decor and gothic ... I found this castle in France, we visited and it was absolutely perfect. "

Nearly 110 guests were invited to France by the young couple. According to several witnesses, Avril Lavigne and Chad Kroeger could not hide their excitement throughout the ceremony. "When you have this ring on your finger, you'll see all day, and when you call the other person your husband or wife is a very special feeling," revealed the happy couple.

The couple met in February 2012 as Chad Kroeger worked on the new Avril Lavigne album. The musician had asked for the hand of the young woman in August, offering a diamond ring 14 carats.
This is the second marriage of Avril Lavigne, who had married the singer in 2006 Sum 41, Deryck Whibley.
