WOAH! What's happened to Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens aka Cousin Matthew?
We're confused. We've been told this is Dan Stevens from Downton Abbey. You know - that fabulous young man who plays Matthew Crawley. Or Cousin Matthew for short.
But how can this possibly be?
The Dan we know and love has floppy and incredibly soft golden locks
that blow in the Downton breeze. But this guy has spiky, raven-black
hair.
The Dan we know and love is clean shaven - we assume this is the work
of a barber with a hot towel, shaving brush and cut-throat razor. But
this guy seems to be growing a goatee.
The Dan we know and love fills fancy suits with his puffed out chest
and manly form. This guy looks like he could use one of Mrs.
Patmore's steak and kidney pies.
What's going on?
Dan, 30, was at the TAG Heuer Celebrates 50 Years of Carrera event recently in New York City.
Since leaving/being killed off Downton Abbey during the Christmas special, Dan has been starring alongside Jessica Chastain in The Heiress on Broadway. But he's now working on the new film A Walk Among The Tombstones with Liam Neeson.
Is that the reason for his new look?
We're not convinced about the new Dan Stevens. But what do you think?
